When Xavier Figueroa started L.A. Trash Junkers in 2021, he had a simple goal: provide property clean-out services that are easy, stress-free, and non-judgmental.

After years of working in high-pressure technical environments, from aerospace testing to complex project management, Xavier saw an opportunity to bring that same level of precision and care to an industry that often rushes through jobs without thinking twice.

  • Yes! LA Trash Junkers is veteran-owned and operated by Xavier and Maegan Figueroa. We bring military-grade discipline and efficiency to every job.

  • Not always. We offer contactless curbside pickup if the items are accessible (driveway, curb, etc.). We can provide a final quote upon arrival, take payment over the phone, and send you "before and after" photos once the job is complete.

  • No, as part of our mission, we strive to donate or recycle as much as possible. We partner with local charities to ensure usable clothes, furniture, and household goods find a second home rather than a dump.

  • We use a custom 18-cubic-yard dump truck. To give you an idea of scale, it holds about 9 pickup truck loads of debris, or roughly 18 washing machines.

  • We can give you a rough ballpark estimate based on your description or photos texted to (562) 262-9978. However, the final price is given on-site once we see the volume in person.

  • Our quotes are all-inclusive and cover up to 2 hours of labor, all transport, and standard disposal fees. There are no hidden fuel surcharges.

  • We price by volume (how much space your items take up in our truck). Our 18-cubic-yard dump truck has 8 different price points, ranging from a minimum load (1/8 truck) to a full truckload. A labor rate will be applied for large clean-outs.

    • Furniture: Couches, mattresses, dressers, and bed frames.

    • Appliances: Refrigerators, washers, dryers, and stoves.

    • Yard Waste: Tree limbs, brush, and old fencing.

    • Clean-outs: Full garage, attic, storage unit, or estate clean-outs.

    • Specialty: Hot tubs, e-waste (TVs/computers), and construction debris.

  • Due to safety and environmental regulations, we cannot haul hazardous materials, including:

    • Wet paint, chemicals, or solvents.

    • Motor oil, gasoline, or propane tanks.

    • Medical waste or pressurized canisters.

    • Excessive dirt, concrete, or brick (unless pre-arranged with a specific "heavy load" quote)
